We live in Florida and love it here. The politics are absolutely messed up and do NOT reflect the majority of Florida, but the state itself and most of its people are amazing. We’ve got everything from perfect beaches to the oldest history in the USA relating to settlement by Western countries (the Spanish). From the oldest city in the USA to Disney World, you’re visiting Florida for them.

Florida Travel Grid

Florida travel is diverse just like the people. If you’re looking for Florida road trip plans, we have those too, by region or around the whole state.

I think it’s safe to say that most people planning a trip to Florida are coming here for Walt Disney World or Universal Orlando. Both of these theme park complexes are so much fun and really are their own vacation, but you can always add a more mellow, natural element by leaving the resort areas and exploring Florida a bit.

One last this to say about visiting Florida: our state parks are amazing! Whether it’s a dreamy beach day at Honeymoon Island State Park or paddling with manatees at Silver Springs State Park, you’ll find unbelievable adventures all around the state.
