Alberta, Canada is such a beautiful province. It’s home to the prairies, the cities of Calgary and Edmonton, and of course, Banff and Jasper National Parks. We really enjoy exploring Alberta and have made many trips, both via train and as a road trip.
Most of our time in Alberta is spent up in the Canadian Rockies, as it’s such a beautiful, dramatic area, but we explore all over. With fascinating geology and hiking opportunities all around, visiting Alberta, particularly in summer, is a great family or couples vacation.
