Crate Lake National Park isn’t the only amazing natural wonder in Oregon. John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is home to the Painted Hills and some of the most colorful landscape you can imagine. Smith Rock State Park is a dream if you’re into rock climbing or want a challenging hike. At the coast you’ll find Oregon Caves National Monument and Preserve as well as the Honeyman Sand Dunes and Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area.

And we cannot forget the amazing Oregon Coast! There are 11 lighthouses on the Oregon Coast and the towns in between all offer something different. Coos Bay, Newport, Astoria and beyond all make for wonderful stops on one of the best stretches of any Pacific Northwest road trip.
