I have found Arizona to be one of the most unique states in the US. It’s a place where you can drive 2 hours north and go skiing in the morning and return for some sunbathing and swimming in the afternoon. Arizona is filled with culture, art, and some fantastic seafood restaurants (Yes, I said seafood in Arizona). Our family has always loved the Phoenix area since the kids love to visit the zoo and or go out on wildlife adventures in Gilbert. Of course there is always the desert where you can book a fun excursion on an ATV or a hot air balloon ride!

If you are prepping for your family’s first trip to Grand Canyon National Park or visiting the Hoover Dam, let us guide you! We have some great resources for where to go and what to see, locations to kayak or paddle board, hiking spots, and some of the best and most reasonable places to stay along the way.
