Rocky Mountain Region

The Rocky Mountain region of the USA is one adventure after another. From Denver to the Canadian Border in Montana, we have had so many great trips through the Rockies. Very different from the Canadian Rockies, the US Rocky Mountains are the start of the West, the Frontier. Each visit to one of the National Parks or ski villages is so different!

Rocky Mountain Travel Grid

From Estes Park to Yellowstone National Park, there’s a ton to explore. Between the different ranges making up the Rockies and the areas where the plains meet, you’ll come across so many different towns and ecosystems. There are lots of state parks in Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and Idaho for camping or hiking.

Something to consider when you’re planning travel to the Rocky Mountains is that spring may last much longer than you expect and winter may show up a bit earlier than your plan account for. Don’t worry though, because these places have plans and infrastructure in place when the weather goes wrong. You’ll have a great trip with some planning and preparation!
