Home to Vancouver, Victoria, Whistler and more, British Columbia is a beautiful province to explore. Here you’ll find plains of farms, the Cascade Mountain range, the headwaters of the Columbia River, Vancouver Island and some pretty incredible small towns. And did you know that British Columbia is a big wine producer?!
We have spent a lot of time traveling in British Columbia. Vancouver Island is one of our favorite Pacific Northwest escapes, and the city of Victoria is one of the most beautiful destinations during the holidays. The Vancouver Island road trip is quite amazing in the summer, and it’s a great way to combine the nature of this huge island, the culture of the First Nations peoples, and take time away from the busy mainland.
Vancouver and the coast up the Strait of Georgia is really beautiful. From waterfalls crashing into the salt water, whale watching, and hiking just a little ways from the city, it’s a fantastic adventure destination. Heading easy you cross the Cascades and head into the Rocky Mountains. Canada’s Mount Revelstoke and Glacier National Parks are just the start as you approach Yoho and Kootenay NPs. Such a beautiful part of Canada to travel to. We love British Columbia!
